FAQ

How do I know my roof needs to be replaced?
Significant issues in roof systems frequently go unnoticed until after a great deal of damage has already occurred. Visible signs of roof damage that may indicate a need for repair or replacement include:
How long does a roof last?
When properly installed and maintained, a quality roof can generally offer around 20 years of reliable service. There are many aspects which factor into the lifespan of your particular roof, including environmental conditions, the type of roof, and even the color.
What causes a roof to fail or wear out?
Most often, a roof wears out simply due to age. Constant exposure to direct sun or severe weather can cause problems, as can the growth of algae or mildew. If a roof is not installed properly, or the contractor does not choose the best materials for the environment, this can shorten the lifespan. Finally, a lack of preventative maintenance can certainly contribute to the failure of a roof system – a missing shingle today could be a full re-roof next year.
How long is a roof replacement job?
Most of our roof replacement projects are performed in under 1 day. If you have a very large roof, we will never leave it exposed to the elements in between installation days.
Do I need to be home when I have the roof replaced?
No, you do not need to be home the day of installation.
My home has an HOA. Does this matter?
Yes, your Home Owners Associations may have specific guidelines for shingle colors. This isn’t a problem at all. We have a wide variety of colors to meet your HOA approval.
